List of smart tests and appropriate year levels

As at April 2017, there are around 130 tests in total covering 65 topics. They were initially created for Years 7 - 9 (children aged approximately 11 - 14) but now there are also tests available for students in Years 5 and 6.

The tests are currently grouped into 5 sections broadly corresponding to the strands of the Australian Curriculum as well as international initiatives such as TIMSS. The classification by year level is at most a rough guide. Because the tests mostly diagnose fundamental understanding, most of the tests are useful across several year levels. The tests classified as suitable only for Year 9 will also be useful beyond for some students, and may also be suitable under many curricula for Year 8 or below.
There are both pre-tests and post-tests available for each topic.
When you are signed in, the test index on the teacher page lists all of the tests currently accessible according to sign-in privileges.
